Daniel Levin was born in Albuquerque New Mexico. As a youth, Dan tirelessly scoured the desert, searching for reptiles and alien spacecraft, then relocated to Los Angeles, where he thought he might have more luck. Before Fina Dupa, Dan played in Retrospect, and still creates the occasional side project with Airtight Experiment, a radio project that reached top 20 lists in 19 different markets, and even tied for 19th on the CMJ top 200 playlist in 2003. |
